Happy Birthday Kohler!

Kohler celebrated his birthday over a month ago (I've been kind of a slacker in the blog department)!  He's now 7 years old! I remember when he was a baby and I couldn't imagine having a little boy running through the house...look at him now!

For his birthday dinner he wanted Taco Bell...I know, Gourmet.

Kohler LOVED the carousel card that Grandma Smith made him.

He got Nerf guns and bullets from Dad and Grandma and Grandpa Smith. Dad has so much fun shopping for Kohler...sometimes too much fun. :)

Kohler also got an electronic lightsaber.

He got a giant search and find book from Grandma and Grandpa Wheeler.

The highlight of his night was the hour long Nerf gun war he had with Dad. They had a blast together.

"You'll shoot your eye out!"  It's a good thing Hanna had protection.

Kohler wanted a treasure chest cake. It didn't turn out very well. It pretty much fell apart. Good thing Kohler is so easy going. We decided he'd have an old, weathered, broken up treasure chest...even better, right?

Here's a view from the side.

And another view from the back.

Dad's lighting the candles.

Blowing out the candles.

It was a fun evening and Kohler was so excited to turn 7. It's funny how overnight someone can become so big.

Here's some fun facts about Kohler.

Favorite Food:
If he eats (he's a picky one)...Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

Favorite Movie:
Cars2

Favorite TV Show:
Teen Titans

Favorite Song:
Harry Potter Music

Favorite Book:
Maybe a Bear Ate It

Favorite thing about School:
Receiving "Game Balls" from the teacher (it's all about football in his 1st grade class). He's a very smart boy and a great student.

Favorite Scripture Story:
Shadrack, Meshach and Abendigo (please don't ask me to spell those).

Favorite Things to Do:
Play Wii, Play Outside, Do crafts, Build things, Draw, Destroy things and take them apart, Collect things like rocks and stuff found at the playground (hey, one man's junk is Kohler's treasure).

Something special about Kohler:
He is a human beat boxing machine. He is constantly beat boxing while doing other things. He's also the dancing man and has some serious dance moves (think Michael Jackson).  Kohler is super easy going and although he gets grumpy towards his sisters, he lets almost everything else slide right on by.

Kohler might be outnumbered in this family, but we love him and are glad he's in our family!

I thought the back looked like an open treasure chest. It looks like he had fun. Miss you.
